Nike seems to be doubling down on celebrating this silhouette in 2024, with hints of city-inspired colourways on the horizon. Initial glimpses shared on Instagram show uppers which boast a striking combination of vibrant red and orange, set against a dark grey anthracite midsole, T-toe and tongue.
What's more, the exposed Air unit on the sole showcases a new graphic, likely inspired by the vibrant culture of the Southern city. While details remain scarce for now, it wouldn't be surprising to see other major cities receive similar tribute in this year’s upcoming releases.

Nike is readying itself for the reintroduction of the Black/Volt "Retro Logo" Air Max 95 for the festive season, which will have no doubt sent fans of the iconic colourway into a frenzy.
Originally launched in 2020 alongside a "Grey/Volt" counterpart, these kicks pay homage to the enduring legacy of the Air Max 95 silhouette and the Air Max lineage as a whole.
While not a classic colour scheme, these shoes draw inspiration from the early 2000s era of the Air Max, featuring 90s-style Air Max branding just below the iconic Swoosh.
Although the logo also appears on the tongue, it takes a back seat in this version, allowing other design elements to shine.
Vibrant "Volt" yellow accents on the tongue and air units seamlessly tie into the overall design theme, while the remainder of the shoe showcases a sleek greyscale suede construction.
